are available after FOUNDATIONS and LEVEL 1 Completion.
Class Sessions meet ONLINE once a week for 1 full hour unless otherwise specified.
-All Students receive a personal teacher review EACH WEEK of their Homework Assignment.

Do you want to learn how to create and draw your own cartoon characters? With demonstrations and examples, each 1-hour class of the full 12-week course is designed to take beginner and experienced cartoonists through assignments that will define and refine their cartooning skills. They will gain knowledge and training to draw cartoon characters, and find the confidence and inspiration to create their own cartoon creations.

CARTOON CHARACTER DESIGN :
PREREQUISITE: Cartooning LEVEL 1
Starting here with LEVEL 1, you'll learn the basics of character design. Assignments will be based on in-class demonstrations and examples. The foundation of creating characters starts here. You'll learn fun ways to create and invent new cartoon characters.
Along with paper and pencils for class work, ALL STUDENTS receive a special Cartoonist Academy sketchbook as part of the class.

Cartoon Character Design LEVEL 1
With LEVEL 2, you'll build on the foundation from LEVEL 1. The lessons and assignments in this 6-week course will help you to create characters for projects such as greeting cards, comic strips, logos, books and much more.
Along with paper and pencils for class work, ALL STUDENTS receive a special Cartoonist Academy sketchbook as part of the class.

Level 1 and 2 will now be the foundation for artists that can join an advanced continuing class which will create custom assignments for each student's level of cartooning. Studies and training will be towards refining skills and developing toward portfolio quality work.

Do you want to learn how to draw and make comic books? In this LEVEL 1 class, with demonstrations and examples, beginner and experienced cartoonists will learn the art and craft of creating comics. Each online class of the full 8-week course is designed to guide comic creators through the process from Cover to last page, as they work to create a finished short comic book story by the end of the semester.
