WHAAAAT? This Class is Repeatable?
YEP! Every week and every semester is completely different, so Students can repeat the class and get a completely new experience each Semester to grow their creative skills.
In this fun creative class,
Cartoonist Mike Kunkel will teach students
to not overthink their creativity, and instead,
jumpstart their cartoony drawing and imagination skills.
Students will create cartoon creations in class
using SketchBrain techniques with cartoon prompts.
This is a great INTRO CLASS to The Cartoonist Academy. It is all about the fun of cartooning and imagination.
The class will have a different inspiration prompt for each week using : SketchBrain Story Prompts, Foundation Shapes, or the Art of the Squiggles to spark a new cartoon character and moment every time. Each week will be unique and different depending on the cartoon spark chosen. Students will study, draw and create in class along with Mike's demonstration and lecture.
THEN, each student will share their creations
for IN-CLASS REVIEWS and creative guiding.
Draw-overs and sketch critiques will be done for each student's work live in each session.
The goal of this class is to help students dive into creativity.
This will inspire and spark the student's imagination to continue creating.

SketchBrain is for any Student that has completed LEVEL 1 Cartooning.
Reviews and Critiques are done In-Class each week.
Students can use either traditional or digital techniques and tools.
Repeatable! Every week and every semester is completely different, so Students can repeat the class and get a completely new experience each Semester to grow their skills.

This is a great class to continue Cartooning Training.
It is also an awesome intro class to dive into to The Cartoonist Academy and get a feel for projects and the foundations of Cartooning.
This class is all about the fun of cartoon drawing, creation and imagination!
This fun weekly drawing class is designed to inspire and encourage creativity in Cartoonists. Projects will vary from week to week and the students will share their work in class during the session for review and inspiration.
Whaaaat??! This Class is repeatable? YEP! Every Semester is different projects and assignments.
