Do you want to learn how to create and draw your own cartoon characters? With demonstrations and examples, each 1-hour class of the full 6-week course is designed to take beginner and experienced cartoonists through assignments that will define and refine their cartooning skills. They will gain knowledge and training to draw cartoon characters, and find the confidence and inspiration to create their own cartoon creations.
NOTE: These classes require Cartooning LEVEL 1 as Prerequisite.

Do you want to learn how to create and draw your own cartoon characters?
Starting here with Character Design LEVEL 1, you'll learn the basics of cartoon shapes and designing. With demonstrations and examples, each 1-hour class is designed to take beginner and experienced cartoonists through assignments that will define and refine their cartooning skills. They will gain knowledge and training to draw cartoon characters, and find the confidence and inspiration to create their own cartoon creations. Assignments will be based on in-class demonstrations and examples.
The foundation of creating characters starts here. You'll learn fun ways to create and invent new cartoon characters.

-MATERIALS: Paper and pencils or Digital Drawing ProgramLevel 1 and 2 will now be the foundation for artists that can join an advanced continuing class which will create custom assignments for each student's level of cartooning. Studies and training will be towards refining skills and developing toward portfolio quality work.
Students receive Individual REVIEW/CRITIQUES recorded for each assignment.

CREATING YOUR OWN COMIC BOOK STORY!
In this LEVEL 1 Comic Book Creation class, with demonstrations and examples, beginner and experienced cartoonists will learn the art and craft of creating their own comics. Each class of the full course is designed to guide comic creators through the process from Cover to last page, as they work to create a finished 8-page short comic book story by the end of the semester.
Students receive Individual Recorded Reviews for every assignment.
